Restaurant-Style Salsa
When I want good salsa to go with tortilla chips, this is the recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 can (28 ounce) whole tomatoes with juice
- 2 cans (10 ounce) Ro*Tel Original tomatoes and green chilies
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, peeled and chopped
- 1 fresh jalapeño with stem, seeds, and membrane removed, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 small bunch cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 lime, juiced
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in food processor. Pulse until it reaches desired consistency. Taste with tortilla chip and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour.
